Rage_kage
Has anyone got one of these on there bikes? I'm curious on how far that cover sticks out and if it interferes with the brake pedal at all
BANSHEE HP
It's got the notch so the pedal doesn't hit.
special06shee
If its there typical lock out style setup, ya still might have to grind some material away from the oem brake lever for clearance.
sleeper06
I just installed this unit for a customer, nice unit only thing I see I didn't like was the insert is held in by epoxy , is it gonna go anywhere , no. I did have to tweak brake lever a lil

And he starts with a new oem cover so shit is clean and not worn out.

98_shee
What kind of epoxy is best to use? My cover came apart. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
n2otoofast4u
So rather than call you just spout off? Judging by the bike I'd bet you hit something hard. Got a pic of the ring?
98_shee
A bolt came out of the lockup and hit the cover, it didn't do any damage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
n2otoofast4u
So rather than put that in your post you just imply that it just fell the fuck off, which it didn't. I'd call and ask what to do from here. He's got some good facking epoxy to put those things on.
98_shee
That's not how I meant it. I was searching epoxy and this post came up and they were talking about the epoxy they were using being "strong shit". All was was asking is what kind it was. It's not a mattoon cover. 98_shee
Wow man. It was just a question I don't see the problem here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
sprinklerman
Wow man. It was just a question I don't see the problem here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Just an FYI for anyone running a modded cover. MAKE SURE your brake pedal and FOOT PEG has PLENTY of clearance away from cover. If it taps or vibrates against the cover at all, it can very well separate in short order. Sounds like a no brainer, but it happens a lot if not careful.
