Banshee SE
My cousin was putting together his motor and he just realize pistons have a difference, same part number tho. What you guys think could be this a problem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Surfrjag
Measure ring gap. It can tell you quick if its not right
m671054
No concern of engine vibration? Wouldnt you want to check piston weight since those holes appear to be very different.
JayLow
Most likely they are balanced to get the correct weight..
registered user
wiseco changes little shit (and sometimes big shit) on their pistons more than most people change underwear. some of the honda stuff has changed numerous times in the last couple years. i think the top numbers are the forging numbers and bottom is a partnumber
banshee4mil
those are for weight balancing, but you could call wiseco just to make sure, the number is on the web and they are nice ppl and will help if possible -maybe weigh them ,if ya aint got a scale hit up the local drug dealer or takem to your fav grocery store see if they weigh the same
troyzstang
Have to agree Carlos. May want to hit up the local drug dealer and throw them on his triple beam
n2otoofast4u
You will never notice the difference with the different weight. Run it. Lots of motors out there with mismatched bores with no ill effects.
trickedcarbine
Have to agree Carlos. May want to hit up the local drug dealer and throw them on his triple beam Can I come?I'll bring the hookers.
registered user
those are for weight balancing you meen for weight reduction those pistons are from seperate batches. probly a early style and later style. the top numbers are either the forging number or maybe a batch number. like i said before wiseco changes shit more than people change underwear. suprised theres no coating yet. they put that stuff on some of the newer pistons
banshee4mil
weigh them and find out, they are matched from factory for weight and balance if 1 is heavier its no longer balanced is it
trickedcarbine
Not matched for balance from the factory. Weisco is not mocking two pistons up and balancing them. If they were, they would be packaged as pairs with left and right specific markings.
