tuning carbs

Anyone in the Eastern Suffolk County Long Island area know how to tune banshee carbs? It's supposed to be fresh rebuild with 2 hours give or take every seal replaced new oem reeds The bike starts 1 kick when cold, below is the symptoms

- low idle
- sputtering when at lower rpms but wake up during the higher rpm range.
- boggs when trying to keep it from shutting off
- fuel pour out of the over flow hose
-------------------------------
The bike is pretty much stock besides the mods listed below

-280 jets
- Toomey T5 full exhaust
- white brothers boost bottle
- TORS delete
- pro design air filter

This may seem noon to alot of you guys, but I'm sure you weren't born knowing how to adjust/synch/tune any carbs, I'm new to getting my hands dirty with banshee, but I'm very mechanically inclined. I just bought the bike few days ago. Any input would help greatly...

Check your carb's needle and seat and make sure your float is set.

Ahh, the needle and seat again.

The fuel overflowing is effecting the bowl's filling.

Huh? If it's over flowing, it's not having a problem filling. Fuel out the over flow wouldn't have an effect on a machines performance.

Old thread, but I'm experiencing the same problems- super frustrating- Toomey T-5c open air box 280 jet, tores eliminator, performed a carb synchronization they were both dead on, then pulled carbs off, cleaned and disassembled both, (stock carbs) replaced both fuel valves, and set the float height to 20-22 mm... Replaced the fuel, new airfilter, and yet, the Right over flow line from the Right carb is pissing fuel, flooding the bike, and boom- no start- it does run for about a min. But once that bowl fills up with fuel, it's the end of story- anyone have any advice? Is anybody here close to the 5boros? Thinking about purchasing new floats all together, but could use some expert advice

Yeah contact Sleeper06 on here. He's in LI. He'll get you straightened out. But be careful. You may go there with a small problem and be coming home with an empty wallet and bike that is faster then it ever needs to be.
