Launch with override

If you had a neutral down 1-6 override could you launch in 2nd ? Or you must launch in first ? Is not duneable transmission. Thanks for opinions and experiences

If you are light and the bike are light enough you can. Some will say to leave in first, but my skinny ass always leaves in 2nd. Dirt, sand, or asphalt? Dirt for me.

yes i would tried in a pair of weeks, just feel confused if i need to launch in first because of the override. obviously i will force the second because is not billet but i don`t want to be in dangeours on broken the transmission just for the 2nd launch, the ride will be in the sand, and first is to short and not use a bar .

I run a 2-5 override no billet 2nd and haven't had a problem yet.

When I messed with the 1-5 2-5 thing I had a 1-5 cut (I knew Id never need 6th) and welded a stop on the star that would keep it from rolling into 1st when I wanted to start in 2nd. Kind of made it a 2-5 Neutral down, then when I wanted to try first gear Id just swap to normal star to let it into 1st.
