andres.gonzalez.378537
I have a 4mil stock cyl with a 66mm bore dont know much about pipes i was wondering how bad and what problems i would have with big bore out frame shearers. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nightmare
You need small bore. Putting big bore pipes on stock cylinders will create all kinds of problems and run like shit or not run at all.
registered user
come on now. 2t will run without a pipe entirely. same can be said for the reed block. although it makes starting difficult

Almost better then my SB oof's on my 370 stock jug stock stroke motor. I've got another homie runnin shearer big bore oof's on a stock cylinder 350 and it fuckin rips

You would tend to load a motor up and get it making heat way quicker. Definitely possible it ran "fine" with CPI, but how did it run with anything else? The differences between small bore and big bore when it comes to shearers and CPI are vast. Especially since even the big bore CPI's are even aimed at producing a bit more torque, where as the shearers tend to really thrive on RPM's. And if some one has a stock stroke stock cyl that "rips" on big bore shearers.... Wait till you see it run how it should. (Exceptions given when creativity meets welding or epoxy) You meet so many guys who feel that because something goes through all 6 gears and beat their buddy's whatever blah blah bike, it must run good. Then they finally swing a leg over a real monster and suddenly everything they knew is changed.
