bsock
I just picked up a bone stock 2006 SE Banshee. I have done some reading and think I have a rough idea of the first mods I should look at doing. Wanted some opinions as to if I am on the right track or not. This thing is deff a different beast than my 450R was! -TORS Delete- -Pro Flow Adapter- -K&N Filter W/Outerwears- -+4 Timing Key- -Klotz Flex Drive 30- -Klotz Super Tech- -Maxxis Razr 2's- Curious if this sounds like a solid plan to make a reliable fun ride. I'm not sure as to if I will need to rejet for the filter or not. Sorry for the rookie questions just super excited to have one and can't wait for spring to get here. bsock
Roughly 873' above sea level and bike will be trail rode. If these affect the route I should take. Brandon
oldskool
Try to go with a mattoon timing plate instead of degree key. Timing plate 45.00. Some aftermarket pipes would be beneficial for performance. Jetting WILL be necessary with these mods
dirtydownunder
timing plate reeds pipes. t5.t6.fmf.ptr.pc.dmc proflow adapter/filter rzr2's arent that good, they are hard and spin alot.
m671054
Mods would vary depending on terrain
Larry's Shee
Key only indexes the flywheel. Been runing offset key for 4 yrs, even survived a blown rod brg. Or you can modify stock plate and get 4*. 99% probably never change timing after setting it first time around.
bsock
Wooded trails and hills. Looked and sa a few talking about dropping a tooth on the front to a 13 I did this on my 450. Any other comparable tires to the Razr 2's. I liked them on my 450 tthey do seem to be a very hard compound. Brandon
bsock
Would like to run a 20" tire also. Brandon
turbowrenchhead
V Force V4's reeds. I run 22" tires and like them. If I drop to 20's then thats roughly 4-6 mph off my top end. As for pipes, if you have DNR to deal with the the only legal muffs are fmf q series. Pipes will make the biggest bolt-on difference in power. Another cheap mod is vitto's super stock pistons. A little more work but will work with the pipe to make some serious power that will blow away any 450cc.
trickedcarbine
DNR likes the forestry approved pro circuits, the toomey forestry approved tips and or hush kit, as well as the cascade stuff.

sprinklerman
If I were riding trails , I'd do Pro Circuits over fmf any day of the week.
