sheerider11
I needed to replace my motor mount bushings inside the top case and wasn't sure how to go about it. A few people told me what to do. So I took there advise and this is what I came up with. 1-piece threaded rod 3-nuts for rod 2-washer 1-socket matching mount sleeve 2-wrench 1-PB blaster 1- map torch Make sure the washers cover the entire side of the mount. You want to disperse the load evenly. Put 2 nuts on one end and back them into each other. This will keep the rod from spinning. Put a washer on and through the case. Then on the other end put your socket. Make sure to center the socket on the bushing so your not fighting against the case. Place a wrench on the outside nut of the double nut side and another on the socket side. Begin to tighten. Spray PB blaster on both ends to help. You can use heat if absolutely necessary. But be mindful, a little heat goes a long way. You don't want to warp anything or make the case brittle with to much heat. Mine pressed out fairly easily. A little pop and they walked out. Press all the way through till they fall into the center. This is the end result. I lightly cleaned the holes with steel wool and simple green. The process is exactly the same for front and rear. On the rear you must pull out the breather vent. As simple as the front. Once I get the new ones in I'll do an install. But I don't think it'll be much different then this. We will see.

I'm not sure if a pipe will fit and allow the mount to go through though. I'll check when I get home later. That'd be good for both sides really.
