rjayb
Awesome day at the lake! Place was empty and sand was smooth. The bowl had a nice lip for jumping and the company was great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Good times Rick.
LaegerEliminator
Don't be. Sand lake is a dump. Go ride that sled and your jealousy will rapidly disappear. I've been there multiple times in years past. The place is small but I always enjoyed my visits. I really enjoyed being able to tear up the beach wot at will. Not enough snow to ride off the trails yet. It is but this time of year it's better than not riding. Agreed 200%

O/CbansheeRider
When I rode sled in COthat's when we would break something. Early season snow and boulders don't don't treat them well. I miss sledding a bunch. We'd ride vail pass a bunch but rabbit ears by steamboats springs was my fav. LaegerEliminator
25 mph speed limit on all Oregon beaches now I believe:( Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Seriously...!!??! There was nothing better then pulling long high speed wheelies shifting from 2nd-4th or 5th on the smooth sand. I thought Sand Lake was left out of that deal. Isn't it 35mph at Florence? rjayb
It's been 25 on the beach since my dad was running built small block chevy trucks there back in the 70's.

Negative ghost rider. Beaches in Oregon are technically Highway 1. Speed, if motorized vehicles are allowed has been 25 since I can remember. rjayb
Here's the kicker, since its a state highway, wheelies are considered reckless driving. Rick pointed out a guy there today that was part of a big $400 debacle for wheeling a few months back.

I can't wheelie for shit on a quad. After I snapped three grab bars, it started to become a very expensive learning curve. I also have an extension that goes on my grab to set my flag back about 10 inches further so I don't break them with my ass going through the whoops. Got tired of making new ones.
