xt45
If I buy a brand new banshee today, and I will use it everyday for 2 hours, [1] how many months and/or years will go by before it gets problems [2] and what sort of problems will it be
NYUK
if you take care of it, buy a clymer manual,do regular maintenance, remove the tors.remove stock air filter+replace it with an aftermarket, jet it correctly, you will have very few problems.you will need a bore job after a while ,new pistons and rings.and most important you will need new underwear. always wear clean underwear, my mother told me. bignasty1
just take care of it and dont beat the shit out of her and it will be all gravy ya know. my friend rides every day(just about) and is on the same top end for the last 3 yrs and has only lost 4-5lbs of compression in each cylinder and his only other mechanical prob was he had a float stick and that was fixed easily so just take care of your bike and it will last. xt45
Thanks guys, I was told if you drive the banshee in the 6th gear for 1 hour on the asphalt, it will break down. Banshee must only be used off-road, is this true.
Toomey Banshee
Hey NYUK, clean underwear? If you (or me for that matter) get in a "prediciment" (sp?) dont you think you're gonna shit yourself anyway?
streetshee
its not true at all that sheel breakdown after an hour in top gear, and also totaly wrong that should only ride off road, depends on yer set up,if u got off road tires then shees better off road, lower her,add some 225/40/10 and 165/70/10 wheels n tires and shees a killer on the street. see ya.
