VegasJeff
I have a set of 30 oko carbs and its sputters in the mid rpms. I know some of you guys run them and I was wondering if anybody has changed out the needles with like a CEL needle? Kinda puzzled with it and its all stock, just ported, +4 timing, 20cc domes with 100 octane. Thanks jeff
dirtydownunder
oko 30 carbs are so hit and miss ! i had nothing but troubles with mine. in the end i threw them out (not really they sit in a box in the shed) i tried jjh, n68a's and another but i forgot. i tried cleaning up all the cast flaws and all mains and pilots. an messing with floats and needle valves. and i could not get rid of that mid range miss. i even took it to the dyno to get afr read out. and the dyno dude couldnt fix or give any answers. i threw stock carbs on and it worked fine. trickedcarbine
Ditch those knock offs! Any used mikuni or keihin stuff will be far less headache.
