m671054
CC them. Screw in spark plug, hold dome upside down. Place piece of plexi glass with small hole drilled over mating surface. Load liquid syringe full to CC mark. Fill dome with syringe. Note new measurement and subtract it from the full amount. The difference will be the dome's CC what if your measuring an engine that the piston comes above deck like a 7mm?
Pasi S.
You would have a 14mill or maybe a 16mill stock cylinder motor with alot of problems. (only assuming) Or is that "7mm above" possible with 4mill 115 rods and 531 pistons? ...just guessing, nothing more.
trickedcarbine
what if your measuring an engine that the piston comes above deck like a 7mm? Lathe a groove in the piece of plexi till it sits at pistons height. Something tells me it's not that serious for the op
m671054
Tricked got it. I was referring to a 7mm stroker stock cylinder. But i guess any positive deck motor would suffice. which part of the piston to you use, the center or the edge when measuring to cut the plate? Pasi S.
7mm stroker stock cylinder. Are you sure the piston will be 7mm above deck? (sorry for a typo, I ment 513, not 531 lol!)

I don't think he worded it like it would be 7mm out.

Gotta get creative to factor the volume of the crown if it's in your math.
