O.G.
100+ horse on 4 mil stock cylinders on gas? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Stock cylinders and +4 crank are more than capable of 100 hp! Seen much more than that actually, but consistently over 100. When I usually talk race gas I mean what everyone usually buys at the local race shop or race track. When you want the best shit, the most power, and still claim your on gas, that is special gas! Special gas WILL make more power than alcohol. It will be faster. And it is gas. It's a pain to tune, and very expensive! This is secret squirrel technology. I've ran all kinds of race gas, additives, alcohol, nitro up to 80% and I pretty much stick with gas. If I'm running nitrous, I only use gas. Alcohol does not burn cooler than gas. Alcohol only runs cooler on the lower rpm's because the engine is too fat and not all the alcohol is burning. If your cool on the topend, your too rich. Alcohol does have a low latent heat of vaporization, this is how it pulls heat out of the intake tract of the engine. Very beneficial. But many race gas mixes and all the secret squirrel gases are lower. Do some research. Latent heat of vaporization, oxygenated fuels, specific gravity, btu per pound. Alcohol is old tech! You won't make me look bad. Just ask!

trickedcarbine
And what race gas makes more power than alcohol? Just wondering not trying to make you look bad. I know that alcohol runs a lot cooler so if you're making more power on race fuel, do you have problems with cooling? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Q16, there are a couple others. But that stuff is almost $100 for 5gallons. I've been getting pretty stellar results with the oxygenated VP 113 lately.

specialblend07
GRR did some great motors back in the day. I don't know what happened to him. He came on here talking about how his "Hooker" and "Stripper" pipes were going to take over the world a few years back. Then he disappeared. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?/topic/179293-grand-river-racings-inframe-the-hooker-and-the-stripper/

His sponsor banner has been here for what, 2-3 years now? Yeah he came in throwing elbows, but one of the first threads he started before any of the new pipe talk was a thread soley for folks to talk their shit. For a fella to do that I'd say he's well aware of what folks think. There are a lot of fellas out there building kick ass shit and most guys here have no clue who they are just because they don't have a banner here. That doesn't mean they aren't more then capable. I've heard of a few piddly orders falling through the cracks and that's the worst. NEVER have I heard of somebody that paid for one of Andy's motors that wasn't EXTREMELY HAPPY. This sum bitch can build monsters with the best of them. and we back too, start some shit
