trickedcarbine
Sure they do, he's huge, had chassis and motor vortex issues and dicked around with a sub par stock stroke shit pile for a few years. The 4 pokes loved it.
tfaith08
I wish we had a TT track around here. My grandfather converted the one we'd built on our land to a hunting field. I had a blast on my LT250R back then.
trickedcarbine
pretty well hit the nail on the head... also TT is not just about motor and chassis.... a good rider on a slow bike can do some real damage.Ok, ride better then. You've spent the years getting the chassis and motor to top dawg status. So you better bring home the trophies this year!
gusto
Strongly considering scrapping my build and getting into ice racing. Here's the problem, I'm 275! If I go on a super diet I might get 250...maybe 240. I would imagine a 125lb rider would be the equivalent of having 30-40 extra hp, and wonder if I could ever even be competitive. trickedcarbine
Yes. Takes just as much money as skill though. You can compete at your current weight. There was a guy who dominated D14 in michigan a few years straight and he was a big hoss with a very insane 400 ex chassis and a pretty wild 450 motor. tfaith08
I ordered the Laegers with Elka 3s and the rebound adjustment upgrade and they called back an hour or so later and said that they absolutely couldn't get Laeger arms. He offered to get me the Lonestar arms at no extra charge. I'm wondering how they'll work. I've heard good stuff about both.
gusto
ha i just had that conversation. when i checked the reviews i found some unsatisfied customers with laegers. the guy i talked to (from the big shop in california) said they were sick of waiting for parts and service so they pulled all the laeger stuff last week. He loved the LSR service and warranty is lifetime.
