RagunCajun
Ok here we go. #1 is the OEM silencer location. http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff111/raguncajun/DSC01898_zpsx4qolnam.jpg #2 is stock exhaust pipe(expansion chamber) mounts http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff111/raguncajun/DSC01897_zpsbsotse1v.jpg I'm not sure what # 3 is. I cant see much from my old picture of my bike when it was last together. http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff111/raguncajun/DSC01900_zpsqdg2hsgf.jpg Can someone confirm? Bennett131
In number 3 the two tabs on the left I believe hold your coil. I think the one on the right is the tors brain? I would wait until someone else confirms...my frame has been sitting in the garage for quite some time. I'm just now getting to piecing it together. RagunCajun
I also want to know if I can take out any gussets. I do not want to risk the frame cracking. Welds on the gussets look like crap as well as not of the Welds.
Bennett131
Without cutting them off, can you maybe just clean them up some? The welds vary from bike to bike some are really shitty.
special06shee
Pretty sure #1 is for your air box

bluebanshee98
Also on pic #1 right where you put "#' there is the tabs on the inside of the frame for the airbox as well. Those can be removed. If your not sure circle it like you did and we can confirm it

bluebanshee98
Yea the little circle in green is that little tab that sticks out on both sides of the inside of the frame. Remove that. Remove it all the way to the frame. It will be the round tab and the square box that connects to it. Does that make sence? Also the flat bracket 2 of 2 on both sides
RagunCajun
yes that makes perfect sense. thank you. I'm just waiting for what the stock silencers connect to. then i will get to grinding
special06shee
Rear silencers bolt to lower sub frame rail.. Right behind the rear fender mount.
special06shee
If your not running heel guards, zip those mounts off too.
RagunCajun
Do aftermarket heel guards bolt up to the same heel guard location?
