m671054
I know fastco makes fast flexx but someone had a link to another company. Ive tried searching but cant seem to find the thread. Looks like 360 is the going rate for the flexx. Anyone locate them a little cheaper? Also any hand gaurd recomendations for these?
sheesfast
Another company is Atv Fourplay, similar to the Fasst bars. I have the Fasst bars on my 450, my wrists can tell a big difference with them. I know Cycra and Powermadd make guards that work.
m671054
Cool. Checked them out also. Pricing looks similar. What about replacement parts. Looks like if you bend flex bars you cant repair them. Also looks like you can run flexx with anti vibe but softbars you cant? Anybody using precision clamps with a fatbar? These look to be cheaper. sheesfast
Look into the Precision shock and anti vibe clamp too. They are around $250 and have great reviews. Thinking about trying them on the banshee.
sheesfast
Beat me to the post. Looking at my Fasst bars' if you manage to bend those you will have much worse problems to worry about. Super tough and worth the $. Going to try the clamps with my current Pro-Tapers though.
m671054
How long till you think you could provide a ride report? It would be good to hear from someone who has both. Agreed you would have bigger problems than just bent bars.
sheesfast
Won't be getting the clamps anytime soon. Snowing here now. Everything I've heard about the clamps is positive. Say they damp in both front / back and up/ down directions. You can use a anti vibe stem with either bar, but I don't think you would want to use the Precision clamp with either flex bar. Standing on my 450 with a anti vibe you can push down on the bars and feel the give in the bars. Both of those together would probably feel like steering with rubber handlebars. sheerider11
I have flexx bars and an antivibe stem. I wouldn't change a thing. I noticed a huge change in arm pump, numbness, and fatigue. I also have a steering stabilizer that helps a lot.
Burke
Everyone I know with flexx bars loves them, but i could never get past the feeling of your arms moving up and down independent of each other... I am a very big fan of the precision clamps for that reason and you can put whatever height and bend of bars that you want
sheesfast
I do agree that the bars moving feels strange at first and takes getting used to. The comfort is worth it though. I will try the Precisions on my new build.
