trickedcarbine
Seems like Tim is to the point where most of his work he can pick and choose. If you Havnt already dealt with him, it may be hard to get in line. Try facebook?

locogato11283
Good idea. Use builders you can't get a hold of.

Piediddy
My buddy lives bout 15 minutes away from Tim @ Titan, he was gonna get him to build his Saber for his drag 250R. My buddy talked to him on the phone and brought it there, while asking a few questions Tim told him it wouldn't hurt his feelings if he brought it to someone else. I wouldn't bring my lawnmower there, box it up and send to one of BHQ sponsors.

J-Madd
Or he could've said "it'll be done in 2 weeks" and then kept it for 6 months.

registered user
not sure if this is the case but shops that deal only with particular engines usually dont want to work on other manufacturers stuff. if someone brought me a kawasaki i would say take it else where because my experience is pretty limited with those engines
Piediddy
It's was more than that, wouldn't answer/ no call back etc. My buddy is an easy going guy and spares no expense on builds. Maybe Tim dont know R's as good as Banshees, maybe he was going through a rough time. But if I contact a builder and get an attitude, feel like I'm bothering him with my questions, and get brushed off then I'll take my $ elsewhere. I've dealt with My share of big name builders and running a business is more than throwing an engine together. Like stated above who wants to do business with someone you can't get in touch with. If customer service sucks at the beginning what will it be like after your bill is paid in full. Dennis Packard called me on a Saturday to help with tuning and see how the new engine was doing. Just saying.
