Banshee0028 Posted November 20, 2003 Report Share Posted November 20, 2003 Ok, simple question: When the Shee is cold (First crank of the day) is it a good idea to hit the gas a few times before starting it? OR pressing it while kicking it over? I always use the full choke when cold, just did not know if I should also be pressing the throttle while kicking? Also, when NOT pressing the gas, it seems to crank over more, But maybe thats cause for the 1st couple kicks I pressed the gas Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Wallrat Posted November 25, 2003 Report Share Posted November 25, 2003 If mine doesn't start in 2 kicks I'll give a little blip on the throttle as I kick it. Anymore than just a c-hair of throttle will flood it. Try a couple kicks after that and if it still won't start, check the kill switch.
