Upgrading from stock to serval. Is it worth it?

Recommended Posts

Dude where I'm at there is no where to ride. Dirt roads thats about it, and some trails if you find them. It sucks. So yeah I hit up some trails sometimes, but the group around here usually drag.

Sounds like the type of riding i do, i wouldn't get a serval for several obvious reasons. If your mostly drag racing get a cub or stay stock cyl.

I think if you drag alot go cub all the way

i agree

Idk yet, just gonna go through it and check for cracks and inspect shit. Make sure its all tight.

Definitely check the steering stop. They tend to start cracking in the corners and peeling back. Many ways to gusset but something I would do before PC. I had a 86/44 ported stock cylinder from Redline and had him build me a 421 serval at the end of summer. It's the motor Zilla linked to you. I've had it in the sand, trails and mx track and it's by far the most fun 2 stroke I've ever sat on. Worth every penny.
