sheerider11 Posted October 14, 2014 Report Share Posted October 14, 2014 Elkas have a 5/8 shaft I think not sure about the stage 1. And the works are 1/2. I'd go with the Elkas for that reason. trickedcarbine Posted October 14, 2014 Report Share Posted October 14, 2014 Does either set have reservoirs? And is it safe to assume both sets are set up for your weight? If it were me, I'd rebuild the Elkas. But only if you are willing to have the springs re configured to triple rate set up. At least dual rate. Either way I go I'll have to have either set revalved and set up for my weight. The bike is nothing but a trail machine, maybe a friendly field drag race here and there.
