sr73087
To add the several issues I have with the banshee I picked up for pretty cheap. I noticed this when buying it but thought it probably was not a huge deal since it does not look to truly support anything or is an area that would leak. I guess it just threw the chain at one point. sr73087
Does it have to be TIGd or can they use a MIG with a spool gun?

sheerider11
You got lucky. I've seen more then a handful of motors lose all the trans fluid from that break. When I build a motor now I drill holes there. 1. for a drain 2. To give it a weak point to break an not put a tiny hole in the trans part of the case. sr73087
Is this something that is critical to do right away or can it wait? It looks like its basically only supporting part of the stator cover pretty much.
