registered user
Seen lots of devcon in alky motors im sure its fine in the short term. long term is what i would be more concearned about. im gonna try and do my own tests hopefully starting this weekend. alteast so i can get a idea what happens in the short term. devcon datasheet says it does 'fair' with methanol in a 30 day submersian test. what their definition of 'fair' is, is what i want to determine

camatv
sheesh.. no need to weld in material, or use devcon or anything like that.. these things ported right will run way better than anyone thinks. get the timings off of it and you can pm me want to know what makes these things fly most of it is in the correct transfer timing and using the pv's to your advantage.. plus i have a 400 top end that needs a new sleeve he he.. also looking at the pics noone has messed witht he boost ports they can be enlarged a LOT and need to be aimed a certain way. I'll hopefully have my new sleeve in the next 7-10 days so I'll bore and hone the cylinders then and see where we stand on timings and get with you. Been stuck at a standstill otherwise....
