Nick Jackson Posted September 24, 2014 Report Posted September 24, 2014 So I was riding my banshee around some local trails last weekend and noticed It seemed to lag a little bit but still had the power then I went to an open field and noticed I couldn't even get my front wheels off the ground I think I need a carb rebuild any suggestions Quote
Bennett131 Posted September 24, 2014 Report Posted September 24, 2014 What do you need? How about a clue, for starters. Then report back. Quote
trickedcarbine Posted September 24, 2014 Report Posted September 24, 2014 Clymer manual to break down all aspects of tune up/maintainence. Quote
Larry's Shee Posted September 24, 2014 Report Posted September 24, 2014 Compression, leakdown test. New plugs, clean carbs, maybe new float needle/seat. Don't buy rebuild kits as the jets they include will probably be wrong for set-up. Welp, that's my limit of free clues. for now Quote
2strokes4u Posted September 24, 2014 Report Posted September 24, 2014 Heavy rider? I would change plugs first since that may be the easiest/cheapest thing to do first. Quote
Starwriter Posted September 24, 2014 Report Posted September 24, 2014 Did you ever check the coolant since you found out it was leaking into the gear oil? Quote
Larry's Shee Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 As to jetting, list all mods and what your settings and jetting is now Quote
