Stone MXshee
Did it work now? Probably not.
Stone MXshee
Well anyways back on track here, I'm hoping I'll be satisfied with my stockers being ported. I thought about buying an aftermarket cylinder and just porting the sum bitch out, maybe a cub or serval. Thing is, why replace something that works perfectly? Maybe when this one goes out ill put the real goodies all in one engine.

Stone MXshee
Or measure the stroke, or do anything until this sunday!
2strokes4u
Hopefully they didnt shit you on the crank. I can see a builder doing a shitty port job but If they shitted you on a crank then that is just bad business on their part. But these days people are liable to do anything. My competitive cousin bought a crate DM and I am just waiting to line up beside him and embarrass him. Told him not to go that route and to have a well known builder to do it. Now he cant even make it through 3 test passes without ripping into engine.
Deadbeat
aftermarket stock stroke and 4mm cranks cost the same, so hopefully you didnt get bent over on that
BANSHEEBEEFM2M
Should be easy
Stone MXshee
I hope not, that would suck. Like I said, ill measure this Sunday if I decide to go home from work. If that's the case ill take the mother fucker to court. I wouldn't be surprised really.
Stone MXshee
Im going to have to be really accurate when I measure the stroke, like precise. So with the 4mil it moves 2mm lower and 2mm higher then stock stroke, correct?
BUILDER
So I know nothing about EC ATV but just one question. Have you contacted them and told them what you found when you ran it on a Dyno? I am a 100% Redline customer and his service after the sell is second to none and his motors flat rip but that being said any builders deserves a chance to make something right if they make a mistake. Hell Cam makes mistakes too we are all human. If you contacted them and they are telling you too bad this is just the way it is then I would be blasting them also but if you did not talk to them then you need to do that and make sure they have a chance to try and make it right.

I was reading this thread from the beginning and I had no choice but to create an account to tell the banshee lovers about my experience with this company. ECA is a absolute fucking joke. I have been put through so much frustration dealing with them. I received my rebuilt 4mil stoker engine from them and when I installed it into my chassis and filled the fluids, all my transmission fluid poured out of my shifter shaft. They did not replace the seal within the shaft. Their Ebay descriptions on the condition of the rebuild engines are completely false. I tried to contact Dave so many fucking times and never heard shit from him! One time I tried to call him after he knew of the issue and he never picked up his phone. 40 minutes later I call his number from a co-works phone and he picked up 2nd ring. Obviously he was ignoring my call and was not willing to help me at all!!!! Completely disgusted with the customer service and the engine rebuild. When I finally had him on the phone it was nothing but excuses and lies that came from his mouth to convince me otherwise. He rebuilt my engine then sends me text messages at 3 in the morning giving me updates when I am sleeping. I got into a verbal argument with him over the phone and I had him refund me some of my money. I was extremely polite to Dave and was not a rude person by any means. I was really patient with him then my fuse overheated. It was not a pleasant experience dealing with this guy and I highly recommend that you get your motor serviced else where. I wouldn't send my engine there for a free rebuild. ASSHOLE!
Stone MXshee
I told you guys half of the story, my carbs were dirty when I received them with my motor! the bowls were not cleaned like he said he would clean them. I left that part out when I wrote my first post because I didn't have enough time to explain. he told me my jetting would be spot on also. It ran like crap when I put it all together. After I got it dyno tuned it ran great
