Stone MXshee
No shit, that's awesome. Im learning you can really squeeze a lot from a good port job. I can expect at least 75 from it you think?
sprinklerman
Dune port by Kevin this was dynoed at 3300' elevation so at sea level it would be 81 hp and 46 tq .Not entirely true. Dynojets correct for altitude.

Sandking
More than 75-80 hp will be tough to beat with the t-5's, its what I had and that's what it was ported for. Go with CPI'S more compression and timing and you can squeeze more out.
Sandking
Didn't know they correct for altitude but 74's not too bad for t-5's. Still happy with Kevin's work and the 10 day turnaround. OP wants 75 hp and its easily obtainable.
Stone MXshee
Upgrading the pipes is definitely something that I can do. I would shit my pants if I could get 80hp.

Stone MXshee
What does Kevin charge for a port job? What about redline? I really appreciate the pointers, I like where this is going.

03DMshee
I like where this is going. How much did you pay for porting? I wouldnt be liking putting out more cash for something that should have been done in the first place... Give these guys some pics of current porting..... Stone MXshee
East Coast ATV "claims" they did the port work during the rebuild. I sent my engine in for the 4mil stroker rebuild he has advertised on Ebay. There was a thread discussion about his crate engines that I was reading before I created my HQ account. I really wanted to tell everyone my experience dealing with east coast atv so I created an account. I was ripped off and completely disappointed dealing with ECA and I would never send a engine to them again. Dave, the owner of ECA, says he did an aggressive port job, but my dynometer testing says bullshit. Do not send any work to them, you will be so discouraged. I could give you so many details of what I had to go through dealing with them, but anyone who reads this will get the point.
Stone MXshee
Are there any other recommendations to consider on my quad as far as power gains? I thought about VF4's, idk how much different they are from the 3's.

trickedcarbine
You played with the tune up on the roller? Sure A&F is good?
Larry's Shee
Head porters name is Ben Dover. Sounds like they run the sanding rolls around enough to take the factory paint off. Hell, KOC could do a "sport port" template job and get that much
