landonwood20
So I recently just got my engine back from jsr performance. Got every dropped back into the frame and no spark. I tested from green to red on the stator plug and got 14ohms I tested from white with red to white with green and got no reading at all. Any suggestions as to what might be wrong? Or is the brand new stator bad? Thanks for the help.

Starwriter
Get ahold of the people you got it from and tell them the pickup coil is bad and you want your money back. Then buy a used OEM stator.
landonwood20
I got to looking at my harness wires are rubbed bare in multiple spots I ordered a new wiring harness from kompulsive along with new coil. I Accidently ripped the wire out of the stock coil.I will try it with the new harness and coil and report back to yall
landonwood20
And I finally got the stator to read consistently after I pulled the stator cover off and wiggled the wires a bit. In the future I plan on getting rid of the Chinese POS.
sheerider1026
Haha. Those are only worth using as a core. The wire is the WORST I have ever seen. I have done many of those and NOT ONE was even close to spec outta the box.
WINDYCITYJOHN400
No buy a new stator from Eric at RaceTech electric.
Larry's Shee
After it leaves you with a fucked up day, weekend, trip, you'll wish to hell you'd started with a good one. Having to "wiggle" wires should be your first clue. Would you like to buy a vowel?
landonwood20
Race tech stators, are the best ones you can buy?
WINDYCITYJOHN400
Race tech stators, are the best ones you can buy? OEM (Very expensive) RACETECH (as good as OEM and very affordable) REWOUND FACTORY UNIT (gotta ship both ways and need to already have a factory unit to start with.) Buy Race Tech with confidence. landonwood20
Here soon I will order his with the dc conversion, is the one racetech makes any good?
landonwood20
I installed the new wiring harness, along with the Ignition coil, still no spark. Starting to think that stator is the problem because I am using the same cdi box and it ran before the rebuild.
trickedcarbine
Make sure to check the new wiring as well.
