Boon, Fixitrod, we need to start coordinating on this. I am about 90% I can go, and you know what size trailer I have. I was also told I might be able to take a 20' car trailer so 4 quads would be easy! Mrmatt, we need to go riding together more often, You will be climbing those hills real quick. It's easy on a banshee......JUST POINT AND SHOOT! Duece, I hope you have a very understanding wife! I'll pitch in some coin for the services if we make it.

my wife is ultra cool......and NOBODY will be giving us any money...when we have guests at the house, thats just what they are..i would be insulted if anyone offered us any money for a shower or meal.....but you will have a great dane puppy lick your face while you sleep and a 9 year old boy telling you his CR-85 will smoke your shee.......and probally have to play a little "off road fury" and "grand theft auto".....but the beer will be cold......

Well, I believe there was somewhat of a breakthrough for ol' Boon last evening. Talking with the wife, she mentioned that she would like to go to Vegas with her mother in the spring. but, she said she didn't think we could afford it. So, I told her to go, and don't worry. I'll pick up the slack in the $$$ department. So, this means, she goes to Vegas, Boon goes to Dumont. However, another discovery, Being that I smoked the brand new motor in my S-10. Loose oil pump being the culprit, so I will have to pony up and rebuild that quick like, and work my balls off to support two vacations here. But it looks as though things may be a go for me.

Also, Rod, I may be able to scrape up an extra pair of 20-10-10 8 paddle xtreme's for ya if you would like?

Jim, I hope your client works with you on the wedding ;).

Spoin, if boon can't make it, we'll ride together and have mrmatt haul the shee's if need be. Or catch banchetta as he passes by on the toll road... something.

I thought that picture you put up was a Great Dane. A buddy of mine had a dog that was a black and white spotted Great Dane. She was a cool dog. It had one blue eye and one (well 2) brown eye. That dog was the lickingest dog ever. You couldn't sit down to play the Offroad Fury with out a big slobbery tongue getting in the way. It was like getting slapped in the face with a wet towel.

Right on, put me down for checking out Casa del Duece, a shower or two sounds great and I'll help any way I can while there (need someone to pick up dog shit? I got experience-6 dogs at my pad).

Boonman-didja get my email? I need an address to send the star...

Fixitrod-sounds like you got the paddles handled, if all else fails I got a buddy here with a set of Sand Sharks I could probably borrow.

Blue Duece-I gotta get some new Holeshots...tell me there's some fast, wide, sandy arroyos to blaze down, I love those.

Theeechozen1-where the hell you at? When you get a chance lemme know what days you got in mind (it's on page 19).

she is a dane stan, we have had a few of them they dont live real long, but sure brighten up the household.....my wife cant clean the slideing glass door to the back yard cause if she does that damm dog will just come up and run into the glass, she's not the sharpest tool in the shed....when the kids eat she has to be outside, she will come up and just take what ever they are eating and any food on any of the counter tops gets jacked, i cant count the times she's kicked me outta bed......

GPS Coordinates:

Dirt road turnoff to Dumont: N 35* 41.537' W 116* 18.165'

Comp hill: N35* 40.746' W 116* 13.525'

Point just southeast of bathroom #4: N35* 41.371' W 116* 13.713'

The last coordinate was the general area that I had scoped for a prospective camp. Since we won't actually be camping at that area, you can use it for a general reference point of which direction to head to find the bathrooms once you hit the camping area.

Maybe I'm nuts but comp didn't look nearly that tall to me. Maybe 1200' long from as you ride bottom to top but I don't think it was that high. Don't get me wrong, its big. But there are steeper hills then comp, they're just not as wide. One in particular right next to comp goes straight up to a razorback and then straight down the other side - make sure you slow down for the top on that one!

its 1200 feet above sea level at the top of comp hill and 400-700 in the basins so you climb for a good 6-800 feet.....
