Chemical Castration
Yea you should be fine then, Man im glad they screw up and keep giving me the green stickers I wasnt so lucky with the banshee but they did that with my little 80. But even though you have a green sticker if the ranger is an asshole they can still give you a ticket. If the 8th digit in your VIN number is a 3 or a C they can get you for riding a restricted vehicle.
gumby
im just wondering but whats the deal with the stickers? i live in illinois and every spring and towards fall my buddies and i go to the badlands and we dont have to have stickers or anything like that. o and stan the badlands got in door plumbing and everything there now even a small ( 2 games) arcade run by some crazy old guy that keeps a gun under the counter
Wallrat
The sticker is to prove that you've registered your OHV with DMV. Basically its a license plate for OHV. No sticker = big ticket + no ride.
Chemical Castration
I think the red sticker and green sticker is only a california thing, but not sure about that.
evil
whew i read through all 10 pages and am putting in my time off request, it shouldnt be a problem getting the time off. im not touching the shee, it will have the stock motor with all the bolt on goodies, but it runs very well my wife will be there too on her warrior. ill be living in my tent, ghetto style. the ranger gets built before i buy a motorhome !!! ill have enough room to hall 5 bikes with my set up, or 8 if i stand them up on the trailer. reas if you want to do that shipping thing you know what we talked about, send that fucker out west. banchetta also if you need a safe house for the bike and and need it taken to you, send it out man. as of now i think im taking my 2 quads and yammahammers 2 quads as well, so theres plenty of room. so cal riders, the convoy things a good idea if the guys from san diego arent sure how to get there, if not we can all meet up and roll ! stan, were gonna teach you how to poop in a 5 gal home depot bucket, and like it. duece is right, theres some sweet ass desert terrain out that way so pack the dirt tires too. 4 days !!! this is gonna be a blast. ill be bringing about 30 gal. of gas so i should have enough to bail a hommie out if need be. later
banshee370
Evil: Good deal! Glad to see your going to make it too! It should be quite the interesting trip! Too bad you couldnt bring one of your trucks.... I'd love a ride in one of them! I'm sure Stan will adjust to the Dumont Hilton's accommodations. If I can stop breaking shit on my bike I'll be ok..... Its bad when your not even riding it and shit is going bad! This trip is costing more and more $ by the day. UGH! 78 days, 5 hours, 25 minutes, and 48 seconds left until ROOSTFEST 2004 Dumont Not that I'm counting or anything

banshee370
Evil: When I was in glamis over new years I duned one day in a crew cab Duramax (6 of us) on a super windy day... it was almost impossible to ride a quad.... Lets just say I had just as much fun as I would have on my shee. The driver of the Duramax has been duning since he was a little kid (not that he isnt still a kid at heart but he is in his middle late 30's now) We went through the dunes to places I wouldnt have tried or even thought about trying. When we made it to the beach store (from way down in the washes) and mentioned how well the truck does in 4wd.... they all laughed at me and told me it was 2wd the whole time. Then it was over to Boardmanville for some carne asada and a few beers.... Ahhhhhhh good times! btw; sweet ass truck!!!!

theeechozen1
Last trip I was out at Buttercup for 4 days and the wind was harsh, prolly 30-50 mph for a day and a half. I forgot the outterwears and my filters were caked in no time flat. I loaded 30 something beers up in my Toyota and let the air down to 6-7lbs. I got into some shit that had me thinkin bout callin the insurance co. I went into a huge bowl (huge for buttercup anyways) and killed 7 beers trying to get out going back and forth through the bowl trying to crest the top. But when you feel like drinking and kicking back you can't beat the truck for cruizin.
