trickedcarbine Posted September 19, 2014 Report Share Posted September 19, 2014 Put new clutch in oil Drain oil and coolant Remove cover Remove pressure plate and adjuster Remove rod and ball Bend retainer back and remove 32mm nut Remove clutch frictions and steels Remove inner hub Slide basket old basket off input shaft (Take photos with your phone, notate where thrust washers go) Drill rivets on back of the stock basket that hold the gear on. Pull bronze bushing and mini gear as well Orient the gear on to the new basket, insert clutch cushions Install backing plate, bronze bushing, and mini gear Re grease the push rod and ball and re install Lube the hardened chrome oil bushing and place it on the input shaft Place the basket on the shaft. Install thrust washers properly Install inner hub, retainer and nut Install clutch pack Toss OEM adjuster and install pancake bearing style adjuster Place the pressure plate over the new pancake adjust the pancake so that the two arrows on the case line up Install springs. m671054 Posted September 19, 2014 Report Share Posted September 19, 2014 Only part missed was install pressure plate correctly. The inner notches are cut to clear the inner hub.
