I'm going to use this thread for my suspension questions..

Riding: mostly open fields, back roads and some trails, hopefully a little duning in the near future.

Current set up:

Stock frame

Stock swing arm

Ohlin fronts

Rebuilt stock rear

Unknown a arms

Unknown rear axle

Question #1: I have unidentifiable a arms, but they are aftermarket. What/where do I measure to find out what they are. What does +1, +2 mean. What does full flight a arms mean. What does long travel a arms mean.

Thank you guys in advance because I know usual will be full of excellent info on this.

Pretty sure I have those same arms. But no pictures right now was told they were modquad but didn't know modquad made arms. I uses a 72 vw beetle ball joint. I have a part number at home if ya need them.

This is a picture of eyeball engineering +2+1 arms vs stock 2 inches wider 1 inch forward

I would really appreciate it if you would take a pic or two so we could compare. If they are the same then I def need that part number.. what about the tie rod ends, would they be the same?

Hmm, Eyeball Engineering? If you can get in touch with them, try pullng a number off what ever ball joints are in there now. You might even be able to get them at the local auto store.

im not sure that they're even a company anymore. I can't find anything online about them, I'm having these used a arms I bought last year re-powdered and I had to destroy 2 ball joints pounding them out. i'm pretty sure they were the originals and had never been out before, because we had to use torches. I don't see any numbers on them either
