lowidenfast
I ordered 14/43 sprockets and rear end bearings today. All I know to do is slap those in and try it again. Wish me luck
Starwriter
The slots in a stock swingarm aren't long enough to allow for full adjustment with sprocket combos different than stock. Take a die grinder to the slots and lengthen them out.
lowidenfast
Thought about that... Thanks.
lowidenfast
Well the problem was the bearings in the rear end. Changed them this weekend and the popping sound/jerking is gone. I also had to go back to stock sprockets to deal with the chain adjustment issue. Sucks because I wanted to gear it down a little but it's all working now so I'll leave it alone. Just glad I'm going to be able to make it to Badlands in two weeks
