Stretched clutch cable?

When I start my bike up in neutral and pull the clutch in and put it into gear if I give it a good amount of throttle I notice that the rear wheels just move forwards a little like the clutch isn't fully engaging. The fitting that plugs I to the clutch lever is screwed all the way out so could it just be a stretched cable and is there an adjustment on the other end of the cable just below the carbs?

The tip of the actuator is an arrow. Look on the case and there is a little wedge shaped boss in the casting . There's the other arrow. Get them to line up or be sorta close. You could have underlying issues as well. When is the last time the clutch has been apart for inspection?
