aforeo1892
got my first banshee today. its a 1999. when starting it takes about 30 kicks to get it to start then once you run it and shut it off, it doesn't always start back up and you have to kick it alot before you can get it to start. once running a lot of white smoke comes out of the right pipe and barely any comes out of left pipe. also the run off coming from the bottom of the bike comes very heavily. its almost a steady flow. any help would be welcomed. thanks
evil
is there a leak in any of the intake boots or anywhere for that matter ? is the choke tube on ? will it die at idle and run when your on the gas ?
boonman
You need to pull the carbs off and clean them ASAP!!! the flow you speak of sounds like a stuck float, or defective needle valve, (which the float operates). this is what shuts off the fuel flow into the float bowl, which feeds your jets fuel. Also, I am suspect that you may have a bad crank seal on the right side. You said the smoke is very heavy. What does it smell like? What does the plug look like on that side? but, first things first, pull the carb(s) off and clean them out.
