StrokedOutShee
Hey guys, I just bought a billet water pump impeller and while I was taking the water pump cover off to put it in I took the vent line off and then transmission oil just started to drip slowly. So I then check the hose if there broken or anything and there fine so then I check the crankcase vent if it's plugged and it's not. I then reconnected the crankcase vent hose and I blocked the other hose and I blew into and then the oil was coming out a little faster. What do you guys think it is? The banshee has been sitting for like 2 weeks because I'm waiting on my top end to come. Thanks . trickedcarbine
That vent hose in the clutch cover sits right above the reccomended oil amount. Add a little extra and you got a drippy line. Cap it, plug it, or remove it for a Billit plate. Starwriter
They used to be $8. Then they went up to $9. Now they're $14. Still one of the cheapest improvements you can make to your bike. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Banshee-Clutch-Cover-Vent-Block-off-Plate-/110747369144?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19c90ebeb8&vxp=mtr

Banshkid
Does anyone know where I can still buy one of these plates? I just looked online an can’t find any that are metal
Tedder
Why not just go the inexpensive route and use a vacuum plug. I've used Dorman plugs from our local Advance Auto on all of my motors since 2005. If you really want a plate I don't think a plastic one would ever be a problem.
