trickedcarbine
No way!! Powder can be thick and uneven Rzr blade it after it's qtip'd with acetone This is about the best way for said scenario.
jbooker82
I was kidding. Honestly if they were mine I wouldn't have PC'ed the cases. They look worse than bare aluminum when they are all dirty.

Burke
get one of the green roloc discs with all the little fingers on it... do a good hard tape line where you don't want it removed and be careful
Atomic Monkey
I think the best way it with acetone or MEK, but it sucks because they evaporate fast. I used MEK to strip my A-Arms, and it took it right off. Sanding just plugged up the paper, and don't like using Roloc disks on gasket surfaces that are aluminum. I would probably opt for a long flat file b4 the rolocs.

Burke
if you know what you're doing, it won't remove any metal
trickedcarbine
if you know what you're doing, it won't remove any metalNote to self, NEVER, buy cases or cylinders from burk. Sorry, I get the thought and I've seen a lot of guys do it and say it's fine, or that they aren't removing material, if there material removed it's supposedly minimal enough to where the gasket will still seal. I'm not a believer. Just my thoroughly educated opinion.
03DMshee
And if you use MEK...for christ sake put a fucking mask on...that shit is lethal!
sheerider11
Right from 3m site about the roloc bristle heads. I use them. I've used a straight edge after using them. When I worked at the dealership, every head gasket job we used them. I haven't read anywhere but here not to use them.
