ETR174
Are you sure those are OEM banshee needles? It's been a long time since I've looked at any, but I remember them being more blunt than that.Yeah, 5N7's

ETR174
Come to think of it it sounds more like a sputter and it did it longer than middle position
sprinklerman
Blubbery is rich. A hard bog, is lean.
ETR174
If you keep the throttle pinned while its bogging will the bike shut down?
ETR174
Ok so I switched my needle to the 2nd position and it took away a LOT of the sputter. It still has a slight whiff of it so should I go to 1st position?
m671054
Have you reset your idle speed (not air screws) since you turned the slides around. I thought the slide was ramped on one side for the idle screws.

Does that mean I will have to go down to a 270 main?

hercalmighty
Do a plug chop to check your main jet. To be honest, one main bigger isn't going to hurt you and will keep you on the safe side for play riding. Now that it's running pretty good, do the plug chop and see what your plugs look like. Who knows, you might have to go up still on the main

Gotta bring the die grinder to chop the threads. I looked at the plugs yesterday and its now safe to say my pilot is good and the airscrew is set.
