sheerider11
Aluminum I broke out some epoxy. There seems to be more aluminum behind it. I'm gonna get the correct bit and drill it out tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
edgehanger
If it's aluminum it doesn't look like it was cast with the cases. Mine had moisture coming from it.

trickedcarbine
I don't think the cases are damaged. The cases come epoxied from the factory so, I think it has just worn out in that spot so I'm going to re-epoxy it and check for leaks.hmmm Edited August 23, 2014 by trickedcarbine

trickedcarbine
Never in my years of working on these things have I saw a leak there. At first I was gonna say epoxy there is the dumbest thing ever, but I guess anything is possible. But the two sets of cases on my bench definitely appear that they are solid aluminum. Not sure what you have going on.

Not all 4. Regardless, the little that I did get through had aluminum behind it. So once I get time to actually tear into it I'm gonna post and let you know what come of it. Starwriter
Take a hammer and punch to your junk case and see if there are plugs in there like the shift shaft plugs.
