MoronG Posted August 19, 2014 Report Share Posted August 19, 2014 Guys I'm just wondering what gasket an seal set should I buy for my rebuild, an does a complete gasket set come with Crank seals Cylinder head gasket Cylinder gasket Crankcase cov gasket An gasket valve seal Im just curious because when I took my banshee into yamaha they gave me prices of parts an stuff Just those gaskets an seal were on the list individually priced out to be $350 ..doesn't seem right. bigweav81 Posted August 19, 2014 Report Share Posted August 19, 2014 buy a toped/bottom end kit, then buy a kit that contains all other seals. be done with it, few brands to choose from. hell of a lot cheaper then 350! how much is a gallon of fucking milk where you live? you will want a bottom end seal kit. trickedcarbine Posted August 19, 2014 Report Share Posted August 19, 2014 There are finally companies putting together useful kits that actually work with today's motors. I saw a kit the other day that actually came with an O ring kit in stead of a head gasket, reed gaskets to fit Aftermarket reeds, good coated metallic core base gasket, and K&S seals. I will look for the link for you. Stay out of the dealerships. They only give you enough info to keep you stupid enough to keep coming back. $$$$$$$$!
