TroyBrock
What would happen if you used long travel shocks (16.5") with regular a arms? Yes it's a stupid question but please give a real answer before your wonderful sarcastic remarks.
okbeast
The front end of the bike will sit really high and all the angles will be terrible.
TroyBrock
That's what I thought, and I'm guessing it'd be the same for +2 or +3 arms
Deadbeat
the guy selling those shocks says he selling them because he needs standard travel for his bike and bought them by mistake, i looked around at some alba thread and 17" seems to be the length needed for long travel arms..soooo those MIGHT be standard length shock for a bike that isnt a banshee at 16.5 just throwing it out there...but at $85 id prolly still get them and see how it pans out, youd could prolly resell for double no matter what they are for
TroyBrock
That's what I was thinking, one thing is I won't know what weight they're set up for or if they leak until I get them Edited August 18, 2014 by TroyBrock
