m671054
Looks like 450 shock is 1" longer. Wonder if it has more stroke or if its all in the lower eye? Aftermarket 450 shocks probably provide a little more travel.
BANSHEE HP
I just got some stellar +2+1fwd made for yfz shocks, which i had. I think it sits a little low in the front with the stock yfz shocks, theres a little left to tighten on the spring that I havent got a chance to mess with. m671054
Could you get some close up pics? What hubs do you have? Are you concerned with the lower shock mount design? Looks like alot of leverage on the mount
BANSHEE HP
Banshee spindles and hubs. Yes, the shock tab location does some what worry me, I wont realyy be jumping or beating this bike through whoops. However there are other ppl out there with this setup from stellar and I haven't heard any complaints
docjcwatson
Messaged recieved. Thank you Burke for thinking of us! You're my boy Blue! Banshee HP nice set up man! Yes. Stellar Machine and Performance does make Banshee A-Arms for YFZ450 front shocks. The J-Arm and A-Arm Banshees both share the same lower arms. So doing the conversion on either is no problem. We do need to know at the time of ordering whether 450 shocks will be used or not. The lower shock tabs need to go in a different location in order to; A: Clear the YFZ shock (Ie. grinding down the tabs so the shock will fit) B: Keep proper ride height and arm travel due to the 1" longer shock. Our arms are designed around stock Banshee spindles and should be used to keep proper alignment and ball joint travel. You can call me at the shop (520-481-6946) or message me anytime. If I don't know. I can always find out!

m671054
Anyone have a 450 shock stroke measurement? I would like to know from bumper to base of body when fully extended. Eye to eye should be 15.75. Whats the travel?
trickedcarbine
Tried to look but keep getting a arm travel numbers and they all vary on arm. I'll try to see if I can compress mine tomorrow for you
