banshee35027
I just want to hear everyone's opinions about aftermarket reeds. Super stock or pro series? Difference? Pros and cons?
Bennett131
V force. Done.
trickedcarbine
Pros: Better then stock Cheap if you find used Still replacements available Cons: Out dated Replacement parts are the same price as VForce Not gonna perform as well as any VForce. Their cages have that weird flute that needs to be ground on or your manifold needs modifying if you are using anything other then stock or UPP manifolds. banshee35027
So go with v force?
shanYE west
Replacement reeds are way cheaper then vf 25 a cage for power reeds
possum
I dont mind boyesons, as long as your not trying to get every ounce of power. I run them in duners all the time.
shanYE west
Imo.. not all builds need vf. Stockish bikes won't see the gains like the bigger more high strung builds. This was proven on the dyno with the vf2. And no one has posted a dyno of a stock bike comparing them since. I use chariot cages with power reeds. I've used power reeds and switched to vf and couldn't feel a difference. Imo.. unless it's a drag build or something larger then 4mil.. not worth the price. shanYE west
Trick, your thinking of the rad valve.

A little "play" motor that you don't need every last HP,,,, stock modded cage and boyesons work good. I dont mind boyesons, as long as your not trying to get every ounce of power. shanYE west
Snop posted his dyno results with carbon tech single stage reeds against vf on a woods build.. results were interesting. This was years ago.. maybe a minner will dig it up. Lol

shanYE west
Yes, didn't think we were just talkin petals. gotcha, the OP asked about super stock and pro series so thats what lead me to think we were talking petals. But I agree with all your statements about the RAD Valves..
