Tspiva
So I'm Tristan, I'm new. I bought a banshee a couple weeks back.. Ran perfect I wanted to add some v force 4 reeds and make sure it was jetted properly. I went in today to pay for it and just came to find out they installed v force 2 reeds and charged me 259.95.. And 45 to install and charged me 190 for two hours of jetting.. And they still are not done..they say to expect another 1 to 2 hours to get it jetted right.. To me this all sounds extremely ridiculous, ... They also told me the difference between the 2s and 4s is not noticeable.. I'm pretty sure I'm getting screwed just wanted to see if anyone has any input, Thanks Tristan
Bennett131
So you have 500 in a set of vf2's? When you could have gotten the 4s and correct jets for less than 250 and done it yourself? Ya you got fucked with your clothes on....bad.

Bennett131
Plus idc how similar the two Reed valves are (they are not the same) you paid for 4s that's what you should have gotten. The rejet should never take 4 hours to change a pilot.
Evans Ward
Lord have mercy! If you can't get that reduced or get out of it, refrain from doing business with them again. Are they legit with a business license? You ought to name the shop just as a heads up to members here.

Starwriter
On top of everything mentioned above, they haven't made VF2 for many years. I would find it very hard to believe that a shop just happens to have a set of brand new VF2 reeds just laying around. So, you probably got a USED set of reeds for $500. Sandking
Wow call them on the used part and have them take them out and get your quad back quick

Nightmare
What's the name of the shop?
trickedcarbine
Have them just take them off and leave your intake and stuff off and take the bike. That is bullshit. No offense, but Tristan, that's female right? So these fucking goons just thought they had an easy scam. To be honest, their parts and labor are on that bike at this point and they aren't gonna let it go for nothing. At a minimum, get them to properly price the reeds and come to an agreement on the time they spent with their thumb up their asses trying to jet. If reeds are the only change it should only require having the carbs off one time.
