Kmaxwell12
Hey guys got a problem. I did a few searches and came up with nothing. So the problem is I just got my new to me 1992 banshee back up and running after putting a stator on it. I tested it before installing and it all checked out good. Well I started it up and everything looked good. I took it for a short ride and my lights cut out then my left light came back on but was a violet/purple color and then went back out and neither will come back on.What would cause that? Kmaxwell12
Used oem stator. I'm fairly new to banshees but I know to stay away from ricky stators haha
jriffe23
Hmm. Not sure what it could have been then.
Starwriter
Sounds like either the voltage regulator is unplugged or it's bad. Look at the silver single wire metal box under the seat next to the CDI. Make sure it's plugged in and the ground wire is under 1 of the bolts. If it's plugged in, start it up, rev it up, and check the voltage with a multimeter.

Kmaxwell12
@MattG I'm still set up for ac power so I have no battery. I'll make sure the regulator is still hooked up and test it today.

Kmaxwell12
I might try the piaa's unless they are to pricey. I've heard tusk has decent products.
