10milmike
No need for a lock up unless you wanna tune the clutch or have a big motor and your getting clutch slip. I take it you trail ride.
sheerider11
Everyone? HahaMost. It was said I could use all soft springs and still have sweet pull and use.
10milmike
When you use a lock up there is no need for anything more then a 33lb stock spring. That is why you have a lock up with arm weight to compensate.

Power_Man
Is this a pretty stock bike or is the motor pretty done up. If it's a build that has ran fine for a while and is now acting up, try adjustment per the clymer manual. If everything is good it should buy ya a bit more life. However if it is beyond adjustment and just glazed to hell, it's time for a new clutch. Drain fluids to pull the cover off. Inspect the whole clutch pack, basket, inner hub, outer plate, bronze bushing in the basket gear, etc. Every thing befor ordering any parts. Get it through driveline or fast.Closer to stock than major mods. T6 pipes, vf3, shaved head, timing plate. I tried adjusting the cable, but didn't work. Need to make time to pull case cover. Power_Man
Okay, clutch is apart. I don't know how much meat should be on the friction discs, and not sure if the plates look good or not. Time for a new kit or put back in and adjust right? I had adjusted both lever and the adjustment in the case, but I don't think it moved much when I turned the adjusted screw in the case. trickedcarbine
Try a new set up from driveline with springs for your level of mods.

rjayb
I've always had good luck with Jeff''s clutch kit with soft springs on my 88HP bike with lock-up. So is the dune/trail kit from Driveline what I'm actually buying from FAST? Can you get that kit with OEM springs instead of the 20% stiffer ones? Don't think I need stiffer with my setup.
