Stator got wet

Recommended Posts

Ever since I've owned this quad I've had nothing but problems with the electrical system, and ever time it comes down to the stator. I went out riding yesterday, came back and washed the quad. It started no problem after washing it, but when I parked it in the garage and tried to start it again, nothing. No spark. Pulled the flywheel cover and there is moisture and water droplets inside. Is a wet stator a dead stator?
