02Bansheeee
Alright, that'll be my new wheel chock when I order the crossover tube. & with the cylinder walls other than scoring, which there doesn't look or feel to be, what should I do about it? Hone it?

trickedcarbine
What type of riding and after seeing what is out there where do you want your bike to be in comparison? What level do you want it to go to?
02Bansheeee
We just do trail riding. He just suggested that I do a port job. & I examined my pistons more today under more lighting and saw a tad of scoring. & a tad on one of the cylinders. How do I measure the ring gap and piston gap? 02Bansheeee
I'm sure he just wants the bike to run on trails.
02Bansheeee
( This is the RIGHT side ) it does need a hone, but could the engine be suffering from piston slap based on the way the lines are on the wall and piston? It's only on the parts of the wall where the piston could possibly touch it.
sheerider11
Have you ever cleaned the air filter?? Or even run one?
02Bansheeee
this is the left side.. Nothing has been cleaned yet.
02Bansheeee
Yes I run a k&n without the lid, the dirt you see is from me touching the stuff outside of the bike and then me touching the components inside.. The cylinders didn't have dirt in them.
