banshee35027
I bought a clutch lockout with the glass clutch cover so I'm having to put everything back on it. But I bought it new seals and bearings for the water pump and need to know how to put it together. Also on how to install the lockout? Torque specs? trickedcarbine
Pull coolant hose off clutch cover. Drain in to pan. Pull case oil plug, drain in to pan Pull kick starter Remove the cover from the bike Pull decorative Water pump Fascia Remove actual Water pump plate Flip cover over yank C-clip, washer, plastic gear, retainer, and pin. Flip back over, yank pump Use a dowel or something to blow the seal and washer out Clean up cover and gasket surfaces on cover plate Re install the new seal and bearing in same orientation Slide water pump back in Replace the retainer, pin, drive gear, clip and washer Put gasket and cover plate on. Install plastic fascia New O ring on coolant tube with some grease Now put the clutch cover on. Get a clymer manual first
