jackvx2k
Hey guys I'm having trouble jetting my banshee, i recently put new fmf pipes and exhaust on and i also took the snorkel off. I am not sure what jetting i have to have and I have been having a lot of trouble with it. I'm not sure if this will help but i live in Western Australia an the temperature is usually around 20 in winter and 35+ in Summer and I'm not sure my what my sea level is. But if anyone could help me with what number mains and pilots and needle etc i have to have it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys and have a good one
dirtydownunder
fmf stock jetting at sea level (doesnt get much over 350 meters above sea level here) is 260 main - 30 pilot with stock needle in middle clip and about 1.5 turns on the air screw and thats with the snorkel off. what jets are you running now ? jackvx2k
Hey man i was running 260 mains with 25 pilots and 1.5 turns on air screw with stock needle but it wouldn't hit power band. So I changed to 200 main and 25 pilot and then it overheated really badly. But the recomend jetting you gave me would that be perfect for me now or is that just what fmf recommends? jackvx2k
And it also started bogging when I put the throttle wide open when I had the 200 mains in
dirtydownunder
yeh coz 200 is way lean, could of fucked it on a WOT pull. give it a compression test and see how it is. if its stock it should kick around 100-125psi. they should be within 10% of each other. 260/30 is what fmf recommend. its safe. you could try that fmf jetting with one clip leaner on the needle. check the carb slides are opening at the same time and getting full throttle. make sure filter is clean. Broza Reid
Na a KnN pro flow system With no lid Edited August 5, 2014 by Broza Reid
dirtydownunder
OP is running a lid on his, so it will need leaner jetting. even 330 mains for a non ported 350 with open box is pretty fat tho.

Broza Reid
But yeah 200 main jet is far far too lean they come out standard with a 210 but that's with everything being stock
