akcordle
I am stumped. I have a stock 2005 banshee and just did a top end with Wiesco prolites. Problem is that now it dies just off idle if held at a constant throttle position. It revs all the way up nice and clean, and pulls hard through the gears, but dies in that 1/8(ish) throttle position. I was thinking pilot jet? I currently have a #25 pilot in the carbs. Any help is appreciated.
sheerider11
25 with what mods? Pipes? Airfilter? Lid? Pods?
akcordle
All stock minus the pistons. Wiesco prolites. Stock bore
akcordle
Stock filter. stock air box, stock pipes, TORS still on. So when I say stock it's the real deal... I know it's unheard of, and almost nearing the verge of illegal to have a stock banshee, but all the spare money has gone into the kids and their bikes over the years. Strm Trpr
Here's a WAG, since I never had a stock TORS Banshee. I'm not sure if you can even this, but this is what I'd do. 1st, make sure carbs are sync'd by visually seeing the dot on the slides thru each carb's site glass. Then turn the air screws in until seated, then turn them out 1.5x. Next turn the idle adjust knobs equally on the TORS to raise the idle. Then fire it up and see how that works for you.
