SOUTHTHIRTY
20:1 is not rich fyi.... think about it.. its more oil in the fuel... so its less fuel..your carb can only deliver so much fuel. Are u on alky or race gas? A leak at the head. .hmm ... Double check your cylinder head surface, both dome surfaces. .. lay the domes on a thick piece of glass. ... and look under them. jriffe23
Head is leaking from the studs. So what is rich then? Running race gas. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
jriffe23
Seeping from the studs up, like the oring that goes on the stud between top piece and bottom piece on a pro design. I have a noss machine in the mail. Also there is no coolant in the combustion chambers. I checked that. I only ran it for about 5 minutes max. Chassis is completely done so I can't ride it yet. Other than that it fired right up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

SOUTHTHIRTY
Are u asking "if its leaking from the stud" does that mean is rich on fuel?

jriffe23
yes passed leakdown. Compression is 180psi on both sides. No im not asking if its too rich because coolant is coming from the studs. Im just saying there is coolant leaking at the studs. Wont be a problem when my Noss head gets here. Fuel is rich. oldskool
In a not so direct way, the guys are telling you that changing oil/gas ratio is not how you want too make it rich, but rather with larger jets. a/f screw. Build is looking good
jriffe23
Thanks for the compliment. It just wasn't clear. My jets are rich, my plugs are black and wet. Lol definitely rich. Also it hasn't ran longer than 5 minutes yet so I think it's good so far.
