turbowrenchhead
The cut out of the slide faces the air filter side of the carb or the inlet of the carb.
Jgspahn
If the fucking thing won't fire up you must have an issue with the pilot circuit. You also say it won't stay running at idle. Pilot. Check it better.Took the carbs apart and cleaned them this morning. The right side carb pilot had trash in it.. nice job Tyler. I haven't put them back in yet cause the ole lady put me on baby duty while she goes and does lowly woman things.. I'll get them back on in an hour or so and see where we are. turbowrenchhead
I dumped the last women that gave me a hard time about spending $ on my quads and going on trips. Now I gots me one that loves to ride. When she sees me pulling an engine apart she thinks its HOT! I've been with this one for almost a year now and we haven't got to go on a ride together alone. Finally next weekend we are going to northern wi for some riding. Edited August 9, 2014 by turbowrenchhead

turbowrenchhead
Perhaps its loaded up. I've had that happen before if I let it idle for a bit, it will bog when you hit the throttle.
